The film festival will be held over two weekends — Sept. 21-23 and Sept. 27-30 — in Downtown Jacksonville and will kick-off with a gala reception on September 20th.
A celebration of all the amazing cultures that make up the Hispanic community, the festival will feature eight films with Hispanic themes: “The Lost City,” “Evita,” “The House of Spirits,” “Instructions Not Included,” ’Coco,” “Vivir Es Fácil Con Los Ojos Cerrados,” “La Distancia Mas Lagra” and the documentary “Operation Pedro Pan: The Cuban Children’s Exodus. At the end of certain films, there will be a Q&A section with someone from that film; whether it be an actor or a director, the public will be able to interact with them, in person or via Skype.
