Tom Brokaw is the only anchor to have hosted all three major NBC news programs including TODAY, NBC Nightly News, and Meet the Press. Brokaw was the first American network anchor to interview Mikhail Gorbachev and the only one to report from Berlin the night the wall came down. He has published six books including The Greatest Generation, won every major award in his craft, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom
