ABILITIES IN ART

The Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC) is combining art and awareness at the Riverside Arts Market. The project was created to help raise awareness of persons with disabilities living in the community.

Both wheelchair users and able-bodied individuals will roll across a blank canvas using assistive devices. The wheels will be covered in various colors. No skill level is required and the project is open to the public. Completed art pieces will be available for purchase at the ILRC’s Mystery Trip Suitcase Party on May 25th.
