Jacksonville University lost a talented young member of our community, Stephanie Bloom, on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Stephanie passed away just two days after giving birth to her third child. She leaves behind her husband John (MBA ’15) and their children: Audrey (age five), John Preston (18 months), and their newborn son Benjamin.
The 2018 JU River House Run/Walk 5K will be held in honor of Stephanie, an ode to her love of running and a celebration of her love for Jacksonville University and its students.
To further honor her legacy and passion for Nursing Education, her family has created The Stephanie Bloom Memorial Scholarship Fund.
All gifts will directly support scholarships for DolphiNurses in the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences.
