Guns ‘n Hoses Poker Tournament

Jacksonville’s Guns N’ Hoses will be hosting a poker tournament at bestbet Jacksonville on Monument Road on Thursday, April 13. The event is limited to the first 100 people and participants are encouraged to reserve space in advance by calling (904) 993-5218. The winner of the tournament will receive a title belt and cash prizes.
Jacksonville’s police officers and firefighters turned amateur boxers will be entering the ring on April 22 for the main event. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.gunsnhosesjax.com, at ticketmaster.com or at the FOP office located at 5530 Beach Boulevard.
About Guns N’ Hoses
Jacksonville’s Guns N’ Hoses event is put on by the Fraternal Order of Police Foundation and is their largest fundraiser of the year. The first event took place in 1999. It is the one time of the year our city’s first responders become rivals vying for the title and bragging rights for the year. The firefighters and police officers are all amateur boxers who began training for the fights in January. The matches consist of three one-minute rounds and the winner receives the coveted title belt which they display at their union hall for the year.
